What you’re hearing at any given moment on this record is what EOTO co-conspirators Jason Hann and Michael Travis are creating at that moment. Call it dubstep, house, electro, funk or jam – the key is that it’s live improvisation. Fire The Lazers!! is a snapshot of The String Cheese Incident members doing what they do in the studio – totally jacked and funky keyboard and synth lines bump hips with drums, bass and guitar with nothing pre-recorded.
