On March 27, Yonder Mountain String Band will release their 12th studio album. Good As True is the first record to feature fiddler Coleman Smith. He joins founding members Adam Aijala (guitar), Ben Kauffman (bass) and Dave Johnston (banjo), along with mandolin player Nick Piccininni, who has been with the group for six years.

In anticipation of the record, Yonder has just shared an animated lyric video by Dave Razor for the song “Brand New Heartache.” The group debuted the tune last Saturday at Cervantes Masterpiece Ballroom during a show in which the quintet also paid tribute to Bob Weir.

Vinyl versions of Good As True can be pre-ordered on the Yonder Mountain String Band website, while digital pre-saves are also available. The tracklist and the group’s upcoming tour dates appear below the video.
