WWOZ Piano Night to Include Widespread Panic’s Jojo Hermann, Little Feats’ Bill Payne and More

For nearly 40 years, the Monday between Jazz Festival weekends has featured WWOZ Piano Night at the House of Blues in New Orleans. In continuation of its substantial history, the occasion returns on April 27, 2026, with an expansive roster of talented pianists, including Little Feat’s Bill Payne and Widespread Panic’s Jojo Hermann.
Beyond the aforementioned lineup leaders, Piano Night 2026 will also include participating artists such as Jon Cleary, Judith Owen, Joe Krown, River Eckert, Tom McDermott, Oscar Rossignoli, John “Papa” Gros, Josh Paxton, BC Coogan, Tom Worrell, Larry Sieberth, Kyle Roussel, Mari Watanabe, Victor Campbell, Meghan Swartz, Jesse McBride, Joe Ashlar, Al “Lil Fats” Jackson, Keiko Komaki, Lilli Lewis, Mikayla Braun, Yoshitaka “Z2” Tsuji, and Kevin “Sonny” Gullage.
The premier event is a fundraiser for WWOZ 90.7 FM, New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Station, a listener-supported, volunteer-run radio station, whose mission is to “be the worldwide voice, archive, and flag-bearer of New Orleans culture and musical heritage.” Learn more and donate here.
