Tame Impala – aka Kevin Parker – showcased his tune “Is It True” on The Late Show this week, using layered video to accompany himself on guitar and bass.

Interestingly, Parker described this very concept in his recent Relix cover story, explaining, “That’s the golden scenario, when it’s just me and I’m in a room full of versions of myself. Someone is dancing around the studio, someone is the studied producer, someone is the zonked-out vocalist in the corner thinking of the melody. I’ve always thought about doing a film clip where it’s just me playing all the instruments, but I’ve never been able to stomach the self-indulgence.”
