Watch: Dawes, Jenny Lewis, Lucius, Eric Krasno and Kenneth Pattengale Play Pink Floyd, Fleetwood Mac and a Grateful Dead Staple

Over the weekend Dawes performed a special show at the Libbey Bowl in Ojai, California in memory of  their former tour manager Gerry G. A number of guests joined them for the performance including Lucius, Jenny Lewis, Eric Krasno, Jonny Fritz, Hattie Webb and Kenneth Pattengale of the Milk Carton Kids.

One highlight was a version of “Going Down The Road Feeling Bad” with Pattengale, Krasno and Wolfe. Another memorable moment was Lucius’ Jess Wolfe and Holly Laessig joining in for Dawes’ “When My Time Comes” and then Pink Floyd’s “Shine On You Crazy Diamond” (the two have backed Rogers Waters over the years). When Lewis appeared for her song “Acid Tongue,” Dawes drummer Griffin Goldsmith stepped out front to help out on vocals. Jonny Fritz appeared earlier in the evening for his “I Love Leaving” and then Dawes’ “All Your Favorite Bands.” The closer was a spirited take on Fleetwood Mac’s “Don’t Stop” with Pattengale, Lucius, Lewis and former Dawes guitarist Trevor Menear all on board.

A selection of videos from the evening appear below.
