GoFundMe Launched for Kota Dosa After Gear Stolen
Kota Dosa is a New Orleans based group that fuses elements of blues, jazz, and psychedelic sounds. The band recently set out for the West Coast in conjunction with an appearance at the High Sierra Music Festival. While in San Francisco at the outset of a five week tour, which includes two shows opening for Leftover Salmon, the group’s touring vans were broken into and their gear was stolen.
A GoFundMe has been established to aid the Kota Dosa, noting that “a significant amount of the band’s instruments, personal items, and valuable sentimental belongings stolen. This loss has hit them hard, especially as they have an entire tour ahead and rely on their equipment to share their music with audiences across the country.
“The funds raised through this campaign will go directly toward replacing the stolen instruments and equipment, allowing Kota Dosa to continue their journey and bring their music to fans who have been eagerly awaiting their performances. The band is determined to overcome this challenge and keep their tour alive, but they need help from the community to recover from this unexpected loss.
Any support you can offer will make a meaningful difference for Kota Dosa. Your generosity will help them get back on their feet, restore what was taken, and ensure they can keep sharing their passion and talent with the world. Thank you for standing with them during this difficult time.”
