Umphrey’s McGee and moe. Unveil Joint Summer Tour
This summer, two forces of improvisational prowess will tether their respective talents and take to the road. Umphrey’s McGee and moe. have unveiled their plan to come together for 18 live engagements, beginning June 11 at XL Live in Harrisburg, Pa. According to their bands’ shared post on social media, they invite fans to “embark on a journey fueled by history, powered by fun, and sustained by moe.mentUM.”
After the tour kicks off in Pennsylvania, the bands will resume their schedule the following evening, June 12, when they will appear at New York’s The Rooftop at Pier 17. Remaining on the East Coast, they will turn in a performance from Hyannis, Mass., on June 13, and Hampton Beach, N.H., the next night. June 17 is featured on the calendar, though no venue or location has been revealed for this concert.
On June 18, artists will take the stage in New Haven, Conn., before continuing with regional stops in Fairport, N.Y., and Farmington, Pa., consecutively. On June 21, both bands will play the Park Stage in Freehold, N.J., where they will also welcome Pigeons Playing Ping Pong and Lotus.
Umphrey’s McGee and moe. will embark on the Southern leg of their tour next, beginning on July 9 at Roanoke Island Festival Park, in Outer Banks, N.C., followed by an appearance at The Amp Ballantyne in Charlotte, N.C., on July 10.
