In October, The Roots announced a run of shows dubbed the Holiday Tour. The romp included one-night stands at Denver’s The Misson Ballroom on Dec. 27, San Francisco’s The Masonic on Dec. 29, and a New Year’s Eve show at Walt Disney Concert Hall in Los Angeles on Dec. 31. The group followed up yesterday by notifying fans that all but their City of Angels show have been postponed.
Initially, the ensemble posted across their official social media accounts, sharing that their show on Dec. 27 at Denver’s The Mission Ballroom had been pushed to Feb. 24, citing unforeseen travel issues as the catalyst for the switch. Then, they followed up a few hours later and deferred their Golden City stand to Feb. 23.
At this time, The Roots still intend to perform their New Year’s Eve celebration at Walt Disney Concert Hall in Los Angeles. The Dec. 31 concert date will consist of an early and late night performance, slated for 7 p.m. and 10:30 p.m. PT. Tickets are still available and can be purchased here.
