On November 20 and 21 Abstract Logix will host its debut festival. The New Universe Music Festival will draw together artists who “seamlessly mingle compositional ingenuity and improvisational grace and fervor.” The line-up certainly meets this goal, with John McLaughlin and 4th Dimension, The Lenny White Group (featuring Jimmy Herring), Jimmy Herring, Wayne Krantz, The Lenny White Group (featuring Jimmy Herring), Human Element, Alex Machacek and Ranjit Barot. The event will take place at the Lincoln Theatre in Raleigh North Carolina with tickets now on sale.
