To meet a surge of demand, The Doobie Brothers have added a new set of Northeast dates to the 2024 Tour, which has brought the legendary rock quartet around the world in a celebration of its towering legacy. Following the 50th Anniversary Tour that reunited Tom Johnson, Michael McDonald, Pat Simmons and John McFee on the road for the first time in over 25 years, the 2024 Tour has dazzled with such high-profile live collaborations as Susan Tedeschi and Derek Trucks in Jacksonville, Fla. and Steve Winwood at Madison Square Garden just last week. With today’s announcement, the band plots a four-stop victory lap around the Tri-State area at the outset of October.
After winding through 19 more dates in New England, the Midwest, the Mountain region and the West Coast, The Doobie Brothers will return to the Northeast on Sept. 27 for a performance at Syracuse, N.Y.’s Oncenter War Memorial, followed by a set at Allentown, Pa.’s PPL Center on Sept. 28. The band’s newly announced additions begin when the iconic yacht-rockers bear north once more for the Empire State, arriving at the historic Capitol Theatre in Port Chester, N.Y. for two back-to-back performances on Sept. 30 and Oct. 1.
From here, the group will truck to Holmdel, N.J.’s PNC Bank Arts Center on Oct. 2, then spend a night at Atlantic City, N.J.’s Borgata Event Center on Oct. 4. The band will finally wrap its new additions with a set at Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Conn. on Oct. 5. After its Tri-State series, The Doobie Brothers will clear out its 2024 touring calendar with a six-stop Canadian tour, trekking from Ontario, to Quebec, to New Brunswick on Oct. 8-16.
Tickets for The Doobie Brothers’ newly announced tour dates will go on sale this Friday, Aug. 16, at 10:00 a.m. ET. For more information, visit thedoobiebrothers.com/pages/tour.
