Terrapin Crossroads Announces Release of Studio Compilation Featuring Phil Lesh

December 14, 2016

Terrapin Crossroads will release their first studio compilation dubbed Buckle Up Kids, Vol. 1: The Music of Terrapin Crossroads  on December 17 featuring music from the regulars at the San Rafael, CA venue including Phil Lesh, Midnight North, the Terrapin Family Band, Ezra Lipp and many others.

In total, 23 of the venue’s performers came together to record this compilation over two days in April in the Grate Room. Tracked almost entirely live in-studio, the compilation includes the Phil/Warren Haynes original “Spots of Time” as well as the Dead’s “Just A Little Light.” Midnight North also offered up their Crosby, Stills & Nash cover with “Suite Judy Blue Eyes” and much more.

The venue will celebrate the album with a release party on December 17 in the bar as Alex Nelson and Friends perform first before Phil Lesh hits the stage with the Terrapin Family Band. Pre-orders will begin tomorrow via the venue’s website.
