Suwannee Amp Jams has announced its second annual event. From Feb. 26-28, Suwannee Amp Jam #2 will stage at Live Oak, Fla.’s beloved Spirit of the Suwannee Music Park, building on its triumphant inaugural staging in March to welcome a host of the foremost talents in jam, funk, Southern rock and everything in between.

“The plan for Amp Jams is to facilitate a reconnection with the Suwannee musical family, congregate the faithful to the park, and distill the peerless SOSMP experience into its most potent form,” the festival’s organizers shared in a release. In that spirit, next year’s star-studded lineup makes clear nods to past events at their storied venue, like Bear Creek and Wanee Music Festival.

Suwannee Amp Jam #2 is helmed by jam torchbearer Graham Lesh, who will bolster the two sets in his first headlining booking with support from a stacked ensemble of Warren Haynes, Nels Cline, Rob Barraco and John Molo. After an unforgettable engagement with Gov’t Mule at the inaugural festival, Haynes will also return to headline with two sets of the Warren Haynes Band. Umphrey’s McGee will round out next year’s top billings with one standard set–inasmuch as any UM set is standard–and one “All Night Wrong” set, a fan-favorite tradition focusing on an eclectic mix of rare and unheard material; through both distinct frames, they’ll be joined by special guests Jennifer Hartswick, Skerik, Alex Wasily, Roosevelt Collier and more.

Outstanding talent at next year’s event carries on into the undercard, including returning standouts Lettuce, who will play on two nights, and Dumpstaphunk, who will deliver a special tribute to Sly & The Family Stone. The bill is rounded out by The Heavyweights, the funk and fusion dream team of Eric Krasno, Cory Henry and Robert “Sput” Searight; shapeshifting soul ensemble The Nth Power, featuring Hartswick, Henry and Searight; and two nights of Family Company, as well as The Roosevelt Collier Band, New Dawn Starkestra, Brock Butler Band and Gullah Collective.
