Papadosio Announce Final Performances Before Touring Hiatus

In January, Papadosio announced that their 2025 tour would be their last for the foreseeable future. After 19 years of tireless touring that has earned them a reputation as true road warriors, the jamtronica quintet will take an indefinite hiatus from the circuit and use their newfound time to focus on working in the studio. Today, the band have shared the details on the shows where they’ll give their formal goodbye to the road.
Following 10 more festival appearances through Oct. 5, Papadosio will return to their roots in Ohio for two farewell performances. The first of these stagings will come on Oct. 10 at Cleveland’s Globe Iron, preceding a grand finale at Cincinnati’s Riverfront Live on Oct. 11. Presale will begin tomorrow, June 26 at 10 a.m. ET, followed by a general on-sale on Friday, June 27 at 10 a.m. ET. “Be sure to grab your tickets now, as these epic shows are sure to be cherished into the future,” the band wrote.
When they originally announced their hiatus, Papadosio expressed deep appreciation for their fans and years of unforgettable shows and attributed the shift to a desire to pursue new musical avenues. “For the past 2 decades, Papadosio has played thousands of shows far and wide,” the band detailed on its social channels and website. “We are deeply grateful for the experiences that we have had and for the amazing people who we have met along the way. We want to emphasize that we are not breaking up as a band. We will continue to write and record music, as well as explore other musical avenues that our constant touring may have previously hindered. That said, 2025 will be our last year of shows for an indefinite amount of time.
“From the bottom of our hearts, thank you so much for your love and support, your consistent words of encouragement, your cheers, and your ears,” the quintet expressed in closing. “We have never felt like we have deserved any of it, however you continued to show up night after night and we couldn’t have asked for better friends, fans, or family. Stay tuned for more details as to what is sure to be a VERY proper send off, and we can’t wait to see you all at our remaining shows.”
