New York’s Blue Note Reopens with Robert Glasper (A Gallery)
The Blue Note Jazz Club in New York officially reopened its doors on Tuesday, June 15 to an in-person crowd. Besides a few socially distanced performances this past fall, the shows marked Blue Note’s first ticketed event since March 2020.
Keys-master Robert Glasper kicked off the 2021 Blue Note Jazz Festival with a sold out show at the club, and owner Steven Bensusan was sure to welcome the crowd, musicians and staff back to the historic venue.
