Music on the Mountain Unveils Third Festival Benefiting Divided Sky Foundation: Eggy, LaMP, Daniel Donato, Karina Rykman and More
The Phoenix has announced the artist lineup for the third-annual Music on the Mountain, a special benefit festival celebrating recovery and supporting Trey Anastasio’s Divided Sky Foundation. Now at the center of Divided Sky’s BIG Weekend, a three-day family-friendly music and wellness and nature event staging at the Jackson Gore Village of Ludlow, Vt.’s Okemo Mountain from May 15-17, the festival’s return will expand its format considerably with a jam-forward full day of performances on May 16.
The third Music on the Mountain offers seven proper sets, plus several side gigs through the weekend. This year’s festivities will be headlined by Eggy and LaMP, the latter following an appearance from Russ Lawton and Ray Paczkowski’s avant-funk duo Soule Monde last year. Karina Rykman will also return to the festival, as will Anders Osborne, taking the stage as a duo with Jackie Greene. After all this and 2LØT and the Trombone Shorty Foundation Band, the festival will present a BIG Weekend All-Stars After Party, featuring a supergroup of Dogs in a Pile’s Brian Murray and Jimmy Law, Rykman, Daniel Donato, Dezron Douglas, Joe Dyson, Jennifer Hartswick, Natalie Cressman and special guests; Donato, Cressman and Hartswick will serve as the festival’s artists in residence.
Away from the main stage, the BIG Weekend will feature Friday night campfire jams from Osborne, Greene and Donato, an acoustic brunch on Sunday with the Murray, Law and Evan Jennison and more. Non-musical activities include the annual Fun(d) Run, Phoenix-led wellness activities, a Kid Zone, recovery meetings and hikes.
“The BIG Weekend reflects what Divided Sky is all about – creating spaces where recovery is celebrated, connection is real, and people can experience the joy of music and community without barriers,” said Seth Dolinsky, Executive Director of Divided Sky Foundation. “By expanding this weekend alongside Music on the Mountain, we’re welcoming people into a recovery-centered experience that feels expansive, inspiring, and deeply human.”
