Melt Your Face Off: Nashville Predators to Host Jerry Garcia Night
On March 24, the Nashville Predators will face off against the San Jose Sharks. The NHL match-up will feature a theme titled Jerry Garcia Night, with songs, spirits, and artist-related merchandise that celebrate the four-fingered pickers’ enduring legacy. The event will be held at Music City’s Bridgestone Arena. A portion of each ticket sale will be donated to the Rex Foundation.
As an added offering in the ticket package, fans will receive a special Jerry Garcia Predators jersey that integrates the team’s and the musician’s iconography. Two-toned yellow tie-dye on the jersey’s main panel frames the symbol of Garcia’s beloved tiger inlay from his Doug Irwin-built guitar. Each shoulder of the jersey favors different imagery: the team’s logo and Garcia’s iconic handprint. Complimenting the colorway, blue and white tie-dye on the sleeves and hem.
Jerry Garcia Night in Nashville follows a familiar pattern of team-related partnerships with the adored guitarist and the Grateful Dead, bringing the band/artist’s essence and music to rinks from coast to coast. Previously participating NHL teams in festivities, and driving home the concept that “The Music Never Stopped” are the San Jose Sharks, Detroit Red Wings, Pittsburgh Penguins, Colorado Avalanche, and more.
Pucks will fly when the heated rivalry commences on March 24. For tickets and additional information on Jerry Garcia Night, follow this link.
