Anti- Records has released this short video of Mavis Staples and Jeff Tweedy in Wilco’s Loft studio in Chicago as the two were recording the veteran singer’s new album, You Are Not Alone, which Tweedy produced.

It marks the first time Tweedy has produced something for another artist (he and fellow Wilcoite Pat Sansone contribute some backing instrumentals to the album). The album’s title track was written by Tweedy as well as another entitled, “Only the Lord Knows.”

Staples will be playing Wilco’s Solid Sound Festival on Saturday, August 14. The festival, from August 13-15, will take place at Massachusetts’ Museum of Contemporary Art.
