Hermanos Gutiérrez Plot US Spring Tour with Adrian Quesada’s Trio Asesino

On the cusp of a world tour that will keep them on the road into the summer, Hermanos Gutiérrez have extended their live itinerary with a new US Spring Tour. The singular Latin-Western-retro-psychedelia duo of brothers Alejandro and Estevan Gutiérrez will cross the country with 10 stops in the South, West and Mountain regions from May 7 to May 24. These shows continue the global celebration of their sixth studio album Sonido Cósmico, which arrived as their second collaboration with producer Dan Auerbach for his Easy Eye Sound imprint last June.
From Feb. 20 to March 11, Hermanos Gutiérrez will race through a 14-stop tour of Japan and Australia, then leap to Latin America for 11 engagements from March 27 to April 18. After a spell away from the stage, the duo will kick off their new US Spring Tour with a performance at The Fillmore in Miami Beach, Fla., where Black Pumas’ Adrian Quesada will open with a DJ set. The brothers will continue their series in the Lone Star State, where they will take the stage at Austin, Texas’ Moody Theater, Houston’s White Oak Music Hall, Dallas’ Longhorn Ballroom and San Antonio, Texas’ Aztec Theatre from May 9 to 13 alongside Quesada’s Trio Asesino.
Hermanos Gutiérrez will cross through the Southwest with a staging at Tucson, Ariz.’s Rialto Theatre on May 15, then arrive on the West Coast for a show at San Diego’s The Sound at Del Mar on the following evening. The duo will take on the spotlight at the hallowed Greek Theatre in Los Angeles on May 17, then hike to Oakland, Calif.’s Fox Theatre on May 20. To conclude the US tour, the brothers will cross through the mountains to Aspen, Colo. for a finale at Belly Up Aspen on May 24.
