Previously, Relix reported on John Scofield’s Electrospectic Tour by running a story on his confirmed concert at the Ludlow Garage in Cincinnati, on October 15. Now, Miles Davis’ 1980s collaborator has tacked on an extension, including an added night at the aforementioned location, bringing their venue total to two, before ensuing appearances on both sides of the country, keeping Sco, drummer Adam Deitch (Lettuce), bassist Oteil Burbridge (Dead & Co., Allman Brothers) and keyboardist Larry Goldings (Scary Goldings, James Taylor) busy well into November.

Following the first two nights on the road, October 14-15 in Cincinnati, the quartet will take their talents to The Kent Stage in Kent, Ohio, on October 16. They will embark on the Midwest chapter of their live excursion, with concerts slated for Brookfield, Wis. (Oct. 17), Chicago (Oct. 18), and St. Louis (Oct. 20). They will continue with additional dates in Nashville (Oct. 21), Washington, D.C. (Oct. 22), and Miami (Oct. 24).

The late autumn run, dubbed “Electrospective,” will find Scofield revisiting and reinterpreting songs from different stages of his career. Material from Blue Matter, Uberjam, and A Go Go will be among the choice pulls. In pursuit of more live engagements and after the Miami concert, the group will take their talents West, performing in California before a brief jaunt through the Pacific Northwest.

After submitting a show in Seattle on November 6, they will pop over to Boulder, Colo., on November 8, and Minneapolis on November 11 and 12. Back on the East Coast, the foursome will play in Ardmore, Pa. (Nov. 13), NYC (Nov. 17), Burlington, Vt. (Nov. 18), Somerville, Mass. (Nov. 19), prior to their final night on the Electrospectic Tour, Pittsburgh (Nov. 20).
