Healing Appalachia Fills Out 2025 Artist Lineup: Molly Tuttle, Remi Wolf, Lukas Nelson, Blackberry Smoke and More

Healing Appalachia has filled out its 2025 artist lineup. After unveiling the names of headliners Tyler Childers and Chris Stapleton, the full festival roster has now been revealed for the September 19-20 gathering, which will take place at the Boyd County Fairgrounds in Ashland, Ky.
According to the updated schedule, Thursday, September 18, begins with a Kickoff Party, featuring Andy Frasco & The U.N. and Jeremy Short, before the first full day of music, September 19, presents Stapleton’s showtime. In addition to the country star’s placement on the roster, Friday includes Molly Tuttle, The Infamous Stringdusters, Jesse Welles, Lukas Nelson, Sunny War, and Desert Hollow. On the same day, the Saunter Song Spotlight presents Courdroy Brown and the Montvales, with late-night entertainment provided by Jeremy Pinnell and Moose Miller.
Saturday’s schedule is billed to feature performances by Childers, Remi Wolf, Blackberry Smoke, American Aquarium, Cole Chaney, Jonas Conner, Hill Country Devil, Brad Goodall, Conrad Moore, in addition to Willy Tea Taylor and Carriers’ takeover of the Saunter Song Spotlight. Ultimately, the final late-night frames will bring Kindred Balley and Jack Browning to the forefront of the festival’s focus.
Childers has topped the bill for Healing Appalachia since its inaugural staging in 2018. His commitment to fighting addiction, drawn from his personal experience, is highlighted in his headline sets. Since its start, the festival has grown from a 1,500-capacity concert at the West Virginia State Fairgrounds to a gathering of 20,000 music lovers. This year, the festival will move from its longtime home to an Ashland mountaintop in the heart of the famed Country Music Highway.
“We’re stoked to welcome folks rolling in from all over the United States and across the globe, spreading the healing power of music and community throughout the festival and campgrounds,” said Dave Lavender, board president for Hope in the Hills.
“We’re excited about not only presenting inspirational, top-shelf national acts and speakers on the main stage, but we’ll also kick off the weekend with a free show on Thursday night, with music tucked in the hills with our hike-in sets called Sauntersong, organized by Matt ‘Catfish’ Williams, as well as a flow of music therapy, art and fun in our ‘Camp Grindstone’ recovery camp with many special guests organized by Margaret Moore,” he added.
Ninety-seven cents of every dollar generated from the festival is reinvested back into the Appalachian community, and to date, the festival has had an economic impact of over $5 million on the region. For tickets and additional information, visit www.healingappalachia.org.
