Grahame Lesh and Daniel Donato Outline Three-Night Duo Run at Bearsville Theater
Grahame Lesh and Daniel Donato will take the stage as a duo for three nights, June 11-13, 2026, at the Bearsville Theater in Woodstock, N.Y.
During the ensuing concerts, Lesh and Donato will continue to build on their collaborative history, steeped in the Grateful Dead’s songbook and a shared affinity for the original band’s free-wheeling approach to improvisation, as well as cultivating prestigious live moments on stage.
Previously, the pair had performed together as part of Grahame’s dad, Phil Lesh’s, Terrapin Clubhouse experience, which boasted the “Darkstarathon” concept, equal parts history lesson and an instructional pass of the material, back in 2024.
Notably, during the opening of Garcia’s Chicago, Grahame Lesh & Friends christened the Windy City stage. The three-night run featured an appearance by Donato, who helped capture the essence of select Dead oddities and stretch them into cosmic territory.
Most recently, during a San Francisco stop on Daniel Donato’s Cosmic Country’s Horizons Winter Tour, the four-piece enlisted Lesh and fellow Bay Area mainstay and Grateful Dead torchbearer Reed Mathis to join on select numbers.
After laying the foundation for their amalgamated sound, the pair will fully embrace an instrumental back-and-forth when their schedules collide in mid-June.
Tickets for Lesh and Donato’s joint appearances at Bearville Theater go on sale Thursday, March 5, at 10 a.m.
