Gov’t Mule and Ann Wilson At Westville Music Bowl (A Gallery)

After two rocking nights at Connecticut’s Westville Music Bowl, Gov’t Mule closed out their first string of performances in over a year on Sunday, May 2, complete with a sit-in by Rock & Roll Hall-of-Famer Ann Wilson of Heart.

The collaboration included a healthy dose of Led Zeppelin (“Immigrant Song,” “Black Dog” and “No Quarter”) as well as Memphis Slim’s “Mother Earth, Willie Dixon’s “You Shook Me” and Tom Petty’s “Luna.”

Naturally, Wilson’s appearance ended with a rocking version of Heart’s “Magic Man.”

Photographer Marc Millman captured the evening.
