Goose have announced their 12th annual Goosemas celebration, continuing a beloved tradition of holiday stagings that dates back to the rapidly rising indie-groove band’s origins. This year, the quartet and their followers will flock to Providence, R.I.’s Amica Mutual Pavilion on Dec. 12 and 13, where they’ll present another pair of special themed shows. Last year, the band adopted a gamefied and audience-engaging “Bingo Live” format after centering a space theme for Goosemas X and a holiday wish theme for Goosemas IX. Tickets for this year’s event will become available through an artist presale on Wednesday, July 23 at 10 a.m. local, with a general on-sale following on Friday at 10 a.m. local. Goosemas XII falls at the end of an unbelievably action-packed year for Goose, whose recent achievements are nearly too numerous to count. Some of the band’s highlights from 2025 so far include the arrival of their long-awaited fourth studio album Everything Must Go, a headline set at New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival, their inaugural Viva El Gonzo destination festival, an appearance on CBS Mornings’ “Saturday Sessions,” a “Goose Tracks” signature ice cream flavor with Jeni’s, the vinyl release of their fully-improvised performance at Lula Luna: Forgotten Fantasy and their triumphant headline debut at New York’s Madison Square Garden. Last month, they forecasted their plans to carry this momentum into 2026 with the second annual Viva El Gonzo getaway, returning to San José del Cabo, Mexico from May 7-9.
After a month away from the stage, Goose will return this Friday, July 25, for a highly anticipated performance at Newport Folk Festival. This debut at the prestigious event will commence the next leg of the Everything Must Go Tour, comprising 15 further dates across the country from Aug. 28 to Nov. 2.
