Fort Desolation Fest has unveiled the full artist lineup for its 2026 event. Returning to Torrey, Utah’s Cougar Ridge Resort from Sept. 24-26, the fifth-annual Americana and adventure summit will unite 11 acts for three days of music set against the stunning backdrop of the Capitol Reef National Park. This year’s bill is led by Drive-By Truckers, Andrew Bird and Grahame Lesh & Friends.
All three of the headliners billed for the summer sendoff will arrive amid eventful years on the road. In October, Drive-By Truckers will reunite with former member Jason Isbell for their first public performance together in 19 years at the latter’s Shoals Fest. Bird has been busy on the road with an immense orchestral tour celebrating the 20th anniversary of The Mysterious Production of Eggs. The torch-bearing Lesh and his revolving cast of collaborators have emerged among the premier Grateful Dead cover outfits in the past year with events like their West Coast Unbroken Chain concert series and two-night Busted Down on Bourbon Street event in New Orleans, and they’ll build speed into Fort Desolation with a summer of Midwest tour dates, the Terrapin Roadshow and a spot at the Hudson River Music Festival.
Beyond the top-billings, talent confirmed for the fifth annual Fort Desolation Fest includes Rayland Baxter, Futurebirds, Tune-Yards, Bella White, Grace Cummings, Coleman Jennings and Triggers & Slips. Away from the stage, attendees can spend their days exploring the red-rock cliffs and canyons of the park and participating in natural activities like hiking, fly-fishing, cycling and off-roading.
