After leaving fans on pins and needles for months, Dead & Company have officially dropped their 2020 summer tour schedule with 17 shows across the United States.

In addition to a pair of historic ballparks – Chicago’s Wrigley Field on July 25/26 and a tour-closing run at Boston’s Fenway Park on Aug. 7/8 – the band’s tour will also line up with some Grateful Dead history, as their Aug. 1 stop at New Jersey’s MetLife Stadium falls on Jerry Garcia’s birthday.

The rest of the tour will take place through what Deadheads refer to as “The Days Between,” the pensive stretch between Garcia’s birthday and the anniversary of his passing on Aug. 9.

According to the band, “These 17 shows are the only headline tour dates Dead & Company will play in 2020.”

General on-sale tickets will be available Friday, Feb. 14 at 10 a.m. local time via Ticketmaster.

However, as per a press release, “American Express® Card Members can purchase tickets in select markets before the general public beginning Tuesday, February 11 at Noon local time through Thursday, February 13 at 10PM local time.”

Additionally, “Citi cardmembers will have access to purchase presale tickets beginning Tuesday, February 11 at Noon local time through Thursday, February 13 at 10PM local time. through Citi Entertainment®. For complete presale details visit www.citientertainment.com.”
