Rooster Walk 13 Expands Lineup: St. Paul & The Broken Bones, Neal Francis, Daniel Donato and More
Rooster Walk Music and Arts Festival has announced the second round of artists that will join them at Pop’s Farm in Martinsville, Va., on May 25 through 28. The Memorial Weekend gathering will mark Rooster Walk’s 13th iteration and will be headlined by jamgrass progressive rockers Greensky Bluegrass.
After releasing the first round of musicians in mid-November, the folks behind the event have delivered the second drop of artists scheduled to perform during the final weekend of May. Included are St. Paul & The Broken Bones, Neal Francis, Daniel Donato’s Cosmic Country, Brandon “Taz” Niederauer, The Stews, John Stickley Trio, Sanctum Sully and Jules & The Agreeables.
The newly announced artists join an already impressive list of musicians who have signed up for the impending musical weekend. Topping the lineup are the previously mentioned headliners, Greensky Bluegrass, along with fellow acts, The Marshall Tucker Band, Trouble No More, Doom Flamingo, Kitchen Dwellers, Yarn, Neighbor, Mike & The Moonpies, Crawford & Power, Sol Driven Train, The Wilson Springs Hotel, Isaac Hadden Organ Trio, Sneezy, TC Carter Band, Big Fat Gap and Pirates of the Piedmont.
Like previous years the festival is produced by Rooster Walk Inc., a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to promoting music, arts and education in its home of Martinsville-Henry County, Va., which has donated more than $270,000 since 2009.
