Today, Feb. 27, 2025, Steve Bardwil Band debuted their latest original, “Wonder of it All,” a pop-pulsing celebration of the natural world that rings with the vintage flair of The Beatles and captures the awe of Mother Nature’s persistent and thankless bounty. “Wonder of it All” arrives alongside an adjoining Cristian Mercado-directed music video. It represents the second track off the band’s forthcoming full-length album, Nothing But Time, due this spring.

“Wonder of it All,” comes into focus at a time when the sanctity of the environment is split, with some seeing it simply for its resources and the ease it can generate for man; while others take a more holistic view, recognizing the reciprocity that has wheeled humanity. The band serves their message in a rich tapestry of psychedelic rock verve, a culmination of instrumental excellence that highlights each player’s strength.

“Nature is a master artist…actually, THE master artist of all time…painting the world with vibrant colors and intricate designs that often leave us in awe…leave us in wonder. Being surrounded by nature and observing nature reminds me that in the chaos of life, there is order and beauty. I can see that every living organism plays a role in the grand tapestry of existence,” the bandleader told Relix

“Being in nature is like wi-fi for the brain…except that it is free! There are no roaming charges, no buffering, no lost connections and it has wireless recharging ability. All you have to do is immerse yourself in the WONDER OF IT ALL …and results are guaranteed,” Bardwil imparts.

Like the song’s lyrics intended, the Mercado-directed music video percolates complementary shots of aquatic and land bound ecosystems and their inhabitants, cut with the band performing the track in a studio setting. The director’s visual commitment to creating scenes that bolster the environment adds a layer to the overarching wonder, which is sonically excelled with the addition of flute via Aaron Leibowitz.

Today’s song premiere arrives ahead of the full-length studio album, which was recorded and mixed by 11-time Grammy Award-winning producer Joe Chiccarelli (Elton John, U2, Beck)  at Los Angeles’ famed East West Studios. “All great bands have a unique sound. Steve and his band have crafted a character that fits his songs and stories with comfort and familiarity. There’s an openness and love of life that shows up in every song on the album,” Chiccarelli commented.

In addition to the band leader, the LP presents Bardwil beside veteran accompaniment: Johnny Stachela (guitar), George Sugarman (bass), Max Butler (keyboards, vocals), Vince Fossett (drums), and Leibowitz (saxophone, flutes), and an all-star cast of sessions assistance a la bassists Kaveh Rastegar (John Legend) and Sean Hurley (John Mayer), and background vocalists Roger Manning and Catherine Jayne.
