On June 8, Oceanic Global hosted an “Evening for the Ocean” cocktail event in celebration of United Nations World Oceans Day which took place at the UN Headquarters in New York earlier that morning. The invitation-only evening event featured remarks from Oceanic Global’s founder Lea d’Auriol, and United Nations Under-Secretary-General for Legal Affairs and United Nations Legal Counsel, Miguel Serpa Soares.

The Evening for the Ocean included a performance by singer/songwriter Margaret Glaspy and guitarist Julian Lage. Margaret Glaspy and Julian Lage also performed at the United Nations for the main event that day, which was hosted by supermodel and sustainability advocate Amber Valletta and produced together with Oceanic Global.
