Summer Camp 2026 Cancelled

With the 2026 edition of the Summer Camp Music Festival just a few weeks away, the event has been canceled. Summer Camp would have been celebrating the 25th anniversary of the inaugural event. The festival issued the following statement via social media, which includes information regarding ticket refunds:

It is with deep disappointment that we must announce that Summer Camp Music Festival will not take place as scheduled on May 21-24, 2026, at Three Sisters Park in Chillicothe, Illinois.

This decision was not made lightly. Due to unforeseen financial circumstances involving a third-party service provider, resulting contract complications, and other factors, we have been placed in a position where it is not possible to safely and responsibly produce the festival.

We understand how much this event meant to our fans, artists, partners, and the community, and we are truly sorry for the disruption and disappointment this causes.

Ticketing & Next Steps:
• All ticket holders should refer to the point of purchase for the most up-to-date information regarding refunds or credits.

• We are actively working with relevant parties to provide additional guidance as soon as possible.

• We also encourage you to contact your bank or credit card company regarding their specific purchase protection policies.

Summer Camp has always been about the people, and your love and support through the highs and the challenges have meant everything. We are truly sorry that this anniversary celebration could not happen the way we all envisioned.

To everyone who has shown up year after year, creating the magic, the community, the music, and the memories that make this festival truly special—thank you.

Summer Camp took place in Chillicothe, Illinois from 2001-2023, with the exception of 2020 due to the global pandemic. For most of the festival’s run, moe. and Umphrey’s McGee served as the event’s house bands, welcoming a range of major jam, rock, hip-hop, electronic and alternative acts like Widespread Panic, Trey Anastasio Band, Steve Miller Band, Willie Nelson, Diplo, Zedds Dead, Billy Strings, Method Man & Redman, Les Claypool. The Avett Brothers, Jane’s Addiction, Zac Brown Band, Keller Willliams and Ween along the way. In 2024, the show was re-envisioned as Solshine: A Music & Arts Reverie, featuring Umphrey’s McGee, Goose, The String Cheese Incident, Disco Biscuits and more. Last year, Summer Camp was slated to return as a non-camping event at Peoria Riverfront in Illinois, but it was canceled due to economic reasons and rebranded as a summer concert series. This year’s lineup was slated to feature Greensky Bluegrass, Two Friends, Yonder Mountain String Band, Manic Focus, Big Gigantic, Maddy O’Neal, STS9 and many others, though neither moe. or Umphrey’s McGee were on the bill.
