Molly Tuttle and Lukas Nelson Outline Co-Headlining Tour
Molly Tuttle and Lukas Nelson have announced a series of co-headlining tour dates, which will bring the pair through the Northeast in early September for five live engagements. According to an overview of forthcoming jaunt, both musicians will perform full sets of music culled from their independent song banks before coming together for specialty collaborations that highlight the pair’s kindred sound.
According to Tuttle and Nelson, their live itinerary will pick up on September 4 at the Cape Cod Melody Tent in Hyannis, Mass. The aforementioned date marks a regional kickoff, which will include subsequent concerts at South Shore Music Circus in Cohasset, Mass., on September 5, followed by an evening at the Palace Theatre in Albany, N.Y.
In continuation of their shared tour, Tuttle and Nelson will play at The Green at Shelburne Museum in Shelburne, Vt., on September 10, ahead of the run’s final date, September 11 at the Bowl in the Pines in Sidney, Maine.
The official press release states: “The show will feature full sets from both artists, highlighting Nelson’s road-tested band energy, soulful songwriting, and expansive Americana sound alongside Tuttle’s virtuosic guitar work, warm vocals, and boundary-pushing blend of bluegrass, Americana, and rock. With Nelson and Tuttle known for their dynamic live performances and deep connection with audiences, the evening promises a memorable night of music.”
Previously, the pair hooked up on stage during the 2025 edition of the Grand Targhee Bluegrass Festival, performing “Friend in the End,” a track Nelson initially recorded with Sierra Ferrell.
Also of note, the collaborative tour comes on the heels of Tuttles’ two-night run with Daniel Donato, slated for July 1 at the Filene Center at Wolf Trap in Vienna, Va., and July 2 at Heuser Park in King of Prussia, Pa.
Tickets for Tuttle and Nelson’s joint tour go on sale tomorrow, Friday, May 8.
