Page McConnell Jams with his Dad

October 16, 2010

Phish performed in North Charleston, SC for the first time since 1996 last night. The group dusted off a few rarer songs during its show, including ‘Buffalo Bill, ’Dog Face Boy’ and ‘Mexican Cousin.’ Page McConnell’s father, Dr. Jack McConnell, also sang and tap danced on ‘Bill Bailey, ’Won’t You Please Come Home?’ during the band’s first set. The elder McConnell, who lives in South Carolina, sat in with Phish in the Southeast on the song several times in the 1990s. Phish last performed the song with Dr. McConnell in Saratoga Springs, NY on Father’s Day in 2004.
