moe. and Umphrey's McGee concluded their joint tour this past week and, apparently, the longtime friends had a lot of fun on the road—so much fun that they have already confirmed another moe.phrey’s show. On December 4 and 5, Umphrey's McGee bassist Ryan Stasik, new Umphrey's McGee drummer Scotty Zwang, moe. guitarist Al Schnier and new moe. keyboardist Nate Wilson will unite their bands once again for gigs at Charleston, SC's Pour House. Charleston singer Kanika Moore, who first gained national attention performing with Stasik in Doom Flamingo, will serve as a special guest both nights.
Schnier, Wilson, Zwang and Stasik came together as a quartet for a late-night moe.phrey’s show at Highwood, IL's 28 Mile this past Saturday, after moe. and Umphrey's McGee performed nearby at Highland Park, IL’s Ravinia Festival. Both Schnier and Stasik also have homes in the Charleston area and regularly play the Pour House.
moe. will appear at Kansas City, MO's Knuckleheads Saloon tonight while Umphrey's McGee will take the stage at Peoria, IL's Friendly Valley Tavern this evening. Umphrey's McGee also announced their signature UMBowl event yesterday.
