A new international touring company launched on Thursday. Stage Left Global was founded by longtime agent Andrew Friedman. The Philadelphia-based independent company will also extend its reach across the Atlantic, as Peter Bozem who works out of Frankfurt, Germany, also is on board.

Friedman is an industry vet, whose previous venture was Candlewick Artists. That agency was later acquired by Royal Artist Group. As for his current goals and expectations, Friedman notes, “Everyone always asks what kind of music I work with. But it doesn’t matter the style — what matters is that it comes from a place of authenticity and connects to my sense of taste. That’s the through-line.”

Indeed, as Friedman indicates, Stage Left Global will work with a wide-ranging roster of artists that cross genre designations. The current slate includes Button Masher, Taylor Eigsti, Sungazer, Jojo Mayer / Nerve, Lau Noah, Night Talks, SAULTS, and Thundersmack.
