Long hallowed as one of the jamband scene’s most eclectic, inventive and dynamic performers, Keller Williams returns with a 14-track album of delightful tunes for children, which are fun ( “Because I Said So” ), comforting ( “Car Seat” ), inclusive ( “Horse Back Rider” ), joyful ( “Mama Tooted” ) and never condescending ( “Soakie von Soakerman” ). This project weaves in the fabric of Williams’ eccentric muse, as well, with unexpected yet charming interludes including a brief sequence in “Good Advice” when the musician teases his very young backup singers to repeat a chorus, but “now in Chinese” to round out a wonderful new set geared to the young heart in all of us.
