Bronze Radio Return: Up, On & Over

Bronze Radio Return may be the best-kept secret in roots-rock music. Anyone who has seen the band’s show – whether as headliners or openers – likely can’t help but agree with NPR’s note urging those attending SXSW to catch the band they dubbed “…this year’s fun.” That is truer than ever now that the group has released Up, On & Over, the follow-up to their 2011 breakthrough album Shake! Shake! Shake! The punchy, power-packed “Further On” – heard in ads for the PGA Tour – the introspective, acoustic filled “World Spin, Home Spun” and the textured rocker “Melting in My Icebox” prove that the band has matured into some fine swirl of roots rock meets R.E.M. And is that a Magical Mystery Tour influence heard in the fun and flirty “Everyday Parade?” Clearly, the fun is just beginning.
