Following the cancelation of Accord, NY’s annual Woodsist Festival due to the nor'easter currently impacting the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic regions, several bands slated to perform at the event will take the stage at Kingston, NY’s Assembly this evening. Those acts include event headliners Cate Le Bon and Destroyer, who will deliver a solo set, as well as festival host Woods. This was supposed to be Woodsist Festival’s final year in Accord, before moving elsewhere. The multi-band gathering, which will scheduled to be held at Arrowood Farms yesterday and today, was also slated to include Ryan Davis & the Roadhouse Band, Frog, a tribute to Alice Coltrane featuring members of her band and Mdou Moctar, among others.
Woods will kick off a run of shows with Frog at Somerville, MA’s Crystal Ballroom on Tuesday, September 29.
