Woods Will Move Woodsist Festival from Arrowood Farms After This Year

8:22 AM EDT on September 4, 2026

Woods have confirmed that this will be the final year that they will host their annual Woodsist Festival at Accord, NY’s Arrowood Farms. Though the festival began in Brooklyn in 2009 and was held in California for several years, it has been an Arrowood mainstay since 2019.

In a note from the band shared on social media, along with their song “Moving to the Left,” they explained, “The first WOODSIST FESTIVAL took place in a vacant lot in Brooklyn in 2009. Since then, we’ve traveled to Big Sur, Joshua Tree, and starting in 2019, Arrowood Farms in beautiful Accord, NY. However, nothing is forever.. It’s hard to say, but this year’s festival will be our last at our beloved Arrowood —our festival home right in our own backyard. We’ll announce where we’re off to soon, but for now, let’s celebrate the closing of a chapter here with our Arrowood Farms family… one last time, with Light and with Love. The 2026 Woodsist Festival lineup is perhaps our favorite of the past 15 years. Over the next few weeks, we’re going to be sharing some info and personal thoughts about each of this year’s performers. If you’ve ever been on the fence about coming to the fest, it’s time to jump in. See you on the farm.”

Woodsist will take place on September 26 and 27. In addition to host band Woods, the lineup will also include Destroyer, Cate Le Bon, Mdou Moctar and a special tribute to Alice Coltrane featuring onetime members of her band, among other acts.
