Willie Nelson has expanded his Outlaw Music Festival Tour. The country music superstar has announced he will remain on the road in October for a handful of new dates, slated to take place in The Golden State.
The first newly added concert will begin on Oct. 14 at the legendary Shoreline Amphitheatre in Mountain View, Calif. Willie Nelson & Family will be joined by The Avett Brothers, Black Pumas and Larkin Poe. Nelson’s son, Particle Kid, will also accompany his dad on stage.
From there, the musician will head inland for a performance on Oct. 15 at Toyota Amphitheatre in Wheatland, Calif., approximately 35 miles north of California’s state capital. The previously mentioned artist will once again join Nelson.
The final addition to Nelson’s Outlaw Music Festival Tour lands on Oct. 16, when he and his guests arrive in Irvine, Calif., for a gig at FivePoint Amphitheatre. Once more, Nelson will welcome The Avett Brothers, Black Pumas and more on stage.
The initial tour was announced in March and began on June 24 at Hollywood Casino Amphitheatre in St. Louis, Mo. Original guests of the tour included Nathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweats, Jason Isbell and the 400 Unit, Charley Crockett, Brittney Spencer and more.
Moreover, at the end of the month, Nelson will bring his tour to the East Coast, for a stop at Blossom Music Center in Cleveland, Ohio, on July 29. There, he’ll welcome ZZ Top, Gov’t Mule and Larkin Poe. Those guests will remain on tour for the next two stops, which will land in Cincinnati and Pittsburgh, before the lineup shifts again in August. Read more here.
Tickets for the three newly added stops go on sale this Friday, July 15 at 1 p.m. ET, via Ticketmaster.
