Wilco will headline Saturday at Newport Folk Festival playing alongside The Avett Brothers, My Morning Jacket's Jim James, Drive-By Truckers, Angel Olsen, Nikki Lane, Joseph, Chicano Batman and many others.
This marks Wilco's first time back at Newport since 2012, with their history with the festival dating back to 2004. The new addition marks a busy summer for Wilco as they once again return to the road playing a number of headlining dates as well as festival slots at Eaux Claires, their own Solid Sound and overseas in Spain (Mad Cool) and Finland (Pori Jazz Festival).
Newport Folk is sold out and will kick off July 28.
