Wilco Announce Spring Tour in Support of ‘Cruel Country’

Just days before the release of their 12th studio album, Cruel Country–out Jan. 20–Wilco have announced they’ll take to the road this spring in support of the offering. During their travels, the iconic band will perform several three-night residencies, which will see no repeated songs followed by one-off performances in cities throughout the southeast of the U.S. who’ve yet had the chance to enjoy the new LP.
Wilco’s spring tour will kick off with a three-night stay at The Riviera Theatre in Chicago on March 23, 25 and 26. From there, they’ll continue their pattern of three-night stays with stops at The Capitol Theatre in Port Chester, N.Y., on March 30, 31 and April 1, and at the Eldborg Hall located at the Harpa Center in Reykjavík, Iceland, on April 6, 7 and 8. During their performances in New York and Iceland, Wilco will welcome special guests, Horsegirl.
After returning from Iceland, Wilco will appear at High Water Festival in Charleston, S.C., on April 16 before heading to Flordia with stops in Orlando, St. Augustine, and Clearwater through April 20. They’ll continue to tour the southeast in cities like Birmingham, Ala., Athens, Ga., Nashville, Tenn., Greensboro, N.C. and more. During their travels around the southeast which will conclude with a performance at Ohio University Templeton Blackburn Alumni Memorial Auditorium in Athens, Ohio, on April 30, Wilco be joined by special guests
