Widespread Panic Announce First Montana Concerts in a Decade
Widespread Panic have shared that they will return to Big Sky Country this summer. The Southern-bred jamband, known for its ability to extemporize and enrich material through segues, teases, and other valiant live approaches, will bring its tenacity for first-rate performances to KettleHouse Amphitheater, near Missoula, on July 7 and 8, 2026. The appearances mark the band’s first gigs in the region since 2016.
With today’s latest tour news, the band has signed on for monthly live engagements through mid-summer. According to Widespread Panic’s live schedule, they will proceed with the already announced [sold-out] live engagements in St. Augustine, Fla., on March 20, 21, and 22, before their ensuing time at the Coca-Cola Amphitheater in Birmingham, Ala., on Friday, April 17, and Saturday, April 18.
With the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival looming in the near future, the group will make
its event-related appearance on April 30. Afterward, they will bring their talents to Sin City for a three-night run, May 8-10, at The Theater at Virgin Hotels Las Vegas. The band will take some time away from the stage before resuming their schedule on June 13 and 14 at the All Good Now Festival in Columbia, Md.
Ultimately, late June will see the band’s arrival on the rocks, continuing their locationally specific journey that began in September 1991 and has resulted in a staggering 75 consecutive sold-out Red Rocks Amphitheatre concerts as of June 2025.
As of the latest announcement, the band’s furthest forecast of live appearances will result in their long-awaited return to Montana, ending a decade-long lapse since their previous regional gig in 2016.
Tickets go on sale Friday, March 13, at 10 am MT. Check widespreadpanic.com for official ticket links and more information on the band’s summer shows.
