“What The Night Brings” Tribute Show Honors The Life of Jeff Austin (A Gallery)
On Monday, Nov. 4, some of the bluegrass and jam scene’s brightest stars gathered to honor the life and legacy of late Yonder Mountain String Band co-founder Jeff Austin.
The show was billed as “What The Night Brings: An Evening of Music, Remembrance and Community,” and it featured a stacked roster of Austin’s friends and colleagues such as Bill Nershi, Billy Strings, Brendan Bayliss, Greensky Bluegrass, Hot Rize, The Infamous Stringdusters, Keith Moseley, Keller Williams, Leftover Salmon, Members of the Jeff Austin Band, Railroad Earth, The Travelin’ McCourys and – of course – Yonder Mountain String Band.
