Watch Pearl Jam Play “Crazy Mary” at Madison Square Garden in 2003

October 27, 2017

Pearl Jam stopped at Madison Square Garden in the middle of their 2003 summer tour for two nights of shows that featured a bevy of surprises like collaborations with Ben Harper and others.

One of the highlights of that run, and era, was the haunting versions of Victoria Williams’ “Crazy Mary” and today Pearl Jam released a pro-shot version of the show opener from the second night of the run. A downright chilling reading of the song as Eddie Vedder goes deep into his voice registry to captivate the Garden crowd.
