Watch: Will Ferrell and John C. Reilly Celebrate Snoop Dogg’s 52nd Birthday During Best Night of Your Life 2
On Saturday night, Will Ferrell’s Best Night of Your Life 2 charity event, which celebrated the 30th anniversary of Cancer for College, evoked laughter and joy at The Greek Theatre in Los Angeles. The event saw appearances from Ferrel’s “stepbrother,” John C. Reilly and none other than the king of side quests, Snoop Dogg.
The trio graced the stage at the Best Night of Your Life 2, delivering a lively rendition of “Boats ‘N Hoes,” a tune originally performed by the characters Dale and Brennan in the iconic 2008 comedy film Step Brothers. Following the performance of the cult-favorite song, they seamlessly transitioned into Snoop Dogg’s 1994 hit, “Gin and Juice.”
Before Snoop Dogg departed the stage, Reilly took the microphone to make a special announcement – it had been Snoop Dogg’s 52nd birthday the day before. Reilly shared, “Yesterday marked a very special day. It was Mr. Snoop Dogg’s birthday. We’re about to sing a rousing rendition of ‘Happy Birthday’ to the greatest rapper in the world!” The crowd joined in the celebratory chorus as Ferrell wheeled a three-tier cake fitted with a throne onstage before Snoop Dogg used the birthday candles to light a joint.
