As she touched down in Kentucky with her widely acclaimed GUTS World Tour on Wednesday, July 25, Olivia Rodrigo enlisted the help of a top-tier local talent to make for an extremely special evening. Midway through her set at Lexington, Ky.’s Rupp Arena, Rodrigo called on the Bluegrass State’s very own Tyler Childers to stage a stirring duet of his 2019 chart-topping ballad “All Your’n.”

Childers sauntered onstage to a chorus of screams, eliciting an extremely energetic reaction from a pop crowd for a country star. This enthusiasm was maintained through the treatment of the Grammy-nominated standout from Childers’ third full-length album Country Squire, which saw Rodrigo and Childers trading half-verses and harmonizing on the choruses. Childers’ stage presence was as impeccable as ever, and for her part, Rodrigo issued a strikingly impassioned treatment of a song outside her typical wheelhouse that she introduced as “one of my favorite love songs of all time.” Watch a fan-recorded video of the sit-in below.

This collaboration arrives as the latest in a string of high-profile match-ups on Rodrigo’s GUTS tour, following previous appearances from Noah Kahan, who offered “Stick Season,” and Sheryl Crow, who brought the classic “If It Makes You Happy” to Nashville, Tenn.’s Bridgestone Arena in March. Rodrigo has also welcomed Jewel and Lily Allen on this run, adding to memorable connections with Alanis Morissette and Avril Lavigne on the SOUR tour.
