The Flaming Lips took frontman Wayne Coyne’s bubble stage garb to the next level this week on The Late Show, as they protected not only themselves, but their audience in sterile, socially distant orbs.
The psychedelic alt-rockers performed their The Soft Bulletin classic “Race for the Prize,” living up to their longstanding reputation as immersive, avant-garde performers, and giving fans their first live music experience in some time.
