Watch: The Brothers’ Rehearsal Video Offers Glimpse of What’s to Come at Madison Square Garden

Best-selling author and Allman Brothers Band biographer Alan Paul has shared a behind-the-scenes look at The Brothers’ concert rehearsal ahead of their April 15 and 16 return to Madison Square Garden in New York City. The clip was shared on his official Instagram account and offers a glimpse of what’s to come during next week’s program.
The video clocks in at 34 seconds and provides a sneak peek at the joint prowess of The Brothers. Paul focuses on the three-part percussive fleet, the only surviving member of ABB’s original ensemble, Jaimoe, who amplifies the band’s count with 90s-era member Marc Quiñones and special guest Joe Russo.
Paul pans the video to reveal the source of the rip-roaring slide guitar via the backside of the blonde ponytail-clad Derek Trucks, positioned next to the group’s other guitar maven, Warren Haynes. Besides the visual aid, Paul wrote, “Privileged to spend the afternoon and evening at The Brothers’ rehearsal. It’s lit, as the kids say.”
The clip captures just seconds of what’s to come during The Brother’s return to Madison Square Garden on April 15 and 16, 2025. The forthcoming concert will feature the amalgamated talents of Jaimoe, Haynes, Trucks, Burbridge, and Quiñones, with Russo, Reese Wynans, Isaac Eady, and special guest Chuck Leavell.
Next week’s live performances arrive after the 2020 gathering, which yielded special moments like the Relix premiered video of The Brothers’ covering Muddy Waters turned Allman-associated cover, “Trouble No More.” Watch here.
