As we've reported, on Saturday night Billy Strings celebrated Halloween at Baltimore Bank Arena last night for his annual Halloween show. This year’s theme was He-Man and the Masters of the Universe. In addition to his own group, Strings welcomed Molly Tuttle on guitar and vocals, Sierra Hull (guitar and vocals) along with Leftover Salmon’s Alwyn Robinson on drums, Chris Sterr on guitar and Jimmy Olsen on keyboard.
Strings moved from acoustic to electric across the evening while bassist Royal Masat and mandolin player Jarrod Walker also did the same. Strings’ group also features Billy Failing on banjo and Alex Hargreaves on violin.
Here’s a look back at the evening via eight covers: “The Power” (Snap!), “What’s Up” (4 Non Blondes), “My Hero” (Foo Fighters), “All Along The Watchtower” (Bob Dylan), “Symptom of the Universe” (Black Sabbath), “Strong Enough” (Sheryl Crow), “Skeletons of Society” (Slayer) and “Flirtin’ with Disaster” (Molly Hatchet).
