Back by popular demand, Eagles have tacked on another weekend at Sphere Las Vegas. News of the group’s elongated stay in Sin City arrives after Don Henley suggested the band’s potential to step away from the live stage after the lapse of this calendar year. According to the group’s latest tour announcement, they will play two concerts on April 10-11, 2026, at the state-of-the-art Nevada venue ahead of any changes.

Prior to expanding their Sphere residency, Henley sat down with CBS Sunday Morning for an interview, in which he said that 2026 “will probably be it” for the band. “I’ve said things like that before, but I feel like we’re getting toward the end and that will be fine, too … I’m OK with that. Because I’d like to spend more time with my family and growing vegetables. There are just lots of other things to do.”

He also alluded to the physical toll the concerts have taken on him and the other members of the Eagles: “three of us are 78 years old now, including yours truly … we all have various ailments.” When asked how fans can continue to engage with the music, Henley added, “I guess they’ll just have to listen to the records.”

The Eagles will continue their Las Vegas residency this month, on Feb. 20-21 and 27-28.  They’ll pick up a similar schedule with weekend appearances, March 20-21 and 27-28, ahead of their one-off April return. In addition to their Sphere commitment, the group will participate in a May 2 stand at the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival.
