Warren Haynes has announced the spring iteration of his Million Voices Whisper Tour, an extension of live performances in support of his latest solo entry, the chart-topping LP Million Voices Whisper, released Nov. 1, 2024. New dates will pick up on April 24, 2025, and function as night one of 16 on the West Coast run, which begins at Seattle’s Neptune Theatre.
Haynes, along with longtime drummer Terence Higgins (of the Dirty Dozen Brass Band), Gov’t Mule bassist Kevin Scott, Matt Slocum on keys, and Greg Osby on sax, will waste no time returning to the stage, arriving at McDonald Theatre in Eugene, Ore., on April 25, before a tight pick up of ensuing Oregon concerts, slated for Medford, Ore. (April 26) and Portland (April 27). The ensemble will proceed to Stateline, Nev.’s South Shore Room at Harrah’s Lake Tahoe before bringing the live show through the Golden State.
The band will embark on the California leg of their spring tour beginning on May 1 at Cascade Theatre in Redding, Calif., before taking I-5 down to Rocklin, Calif., for an evening at the Quarry Park Amphitheater. Next, they’ll arrive in San Francisco, where they are scheduled to electrify The Fillmore on May 3, prior to their Santa Rosa, Calif. stand the following evening and their Monterey follow-up.
The tour continues at the Fremont Theater in San Luis Obispo on May 9 and at Majestic Ventura Theater in Ventura, Calif., on May 10, leading to the group’s Los Angeles appearance the next night (May 11) on The Belasco stage. Warren Haynes Band’s final California gig will arrive on May 14 at Humphrey’s Concerts by the Bay in San Diego.
After closing out their Golden State schedule, the group will perform at two Arizona stands: on May 15 at Marquee Theatre in Tempe, Ariz., and on May 16 at Fox Theatre in Tucson.
Million Voices Whisper is Haynes’ first solo project in almost a decade and fourth overall independent project. The 11-song set was produced by the artist and recorded at Power Station New England. The set features guest slots from John Medeski, Scott, Lukas Nelson, Jamey Johnson, and Haynes’ former Allman Brothers bandmate, Derek Trucks. A powerful entry that percolates currents of blues and rock, Million Voices Whisper informs Haynes playing style and originality across all 11 tracks.
The latest grouping of spring tour dates arrives after Haynes winter dates in support of Million Voices Whisper. Read more.
